At Dream Music Studio, our goal is to create a joyful, structured, and inspiring environment where each student can grow musically. These studio policies help ensure a smooth and positive experience for families, students, and teachers alike.

🎹 Tuition & Payment

Tuition is based on the full school year and divided into equal monthly payments, billed on the 5th of each month.
To reserve your lesson time, we require a tuition deposit and a $40 registration fee per family. This fee helps cover venue rental for our two annual student recitals.

These perks are our way of saying thank you for joining our musical family.

If a payment fails, you’ll be notified by email. Please arrange full payment within 10 days to avoid a $20 late fee and a possible pause in lessons.

🎁 Free Trial Lesson for New Students

Every new student is welcome to a free 30-minute trial lesson, no strings attached. It’s a great opportunity to meet the teacher and get a feel for our studio before making a commitment.

🤝 Student Referral Program

Love your lessons? Refer a friend!
When your friend registers for the school year, you’ll receive one free lesson credit (applied to your next billing cycle).

Note: The referral credit cannot be exchanged for cash, and is only applied once the referred student has completed registration.

📆 Cancellations & Make-Up Lessons

Students enrolled for the full year may receive up to 3 make-up lessons. Those who start after January 5, 2026, receive 2 make-up lessons.
To qualify for a make-up, please give at least 24 hours’ notice.
All make-ups must be completed by June 15, 2026, or they will be forfeited.
Make-up lessons may be conducted by another qualified instructor, depending on availability.

Please Note:

Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) are not eligible for make-up or refund.
Missed make-up lessons cannot be rescheduled.
Absences from group classes will not be made up individually.

Lessons canceled by Dream Music Studio will always be rescheduled or credited.

⏰ Late Arrivals

If a student arrives more than 15 minutes late without notice, the lesson may be forfeited.
If you notify us in advance by phone, text, or email, we’ll hold your spot and teach within the remaining time.

🎤 Recitals

We host two recitals each year as special opportunities for students to perform and grow.
Recital dates are to be determined and will be posted on the official studio calendar.

Participation is highly encouraged!

🎄 Holidays & Breaks

All studio breaks and holidays are listed in our official calendar, available on our website.

❄️ Weather Cancellations

If weather conditions make in-person lessons unsafe, we may switch to online or reschedule. Families will be notified by email of any changes.

👩‍🏫 Substitute Teachers

If a teacher is unavailable, a qualified substitute teacher may be arranged.
If no substitute is available, the lesson will be rescheduled at no cost, and will not count against your make-up lessons.

✍️ Withdrawing from Lessons

To withdraw, please provide 4 weeks’ written notice.
During this period, regular billing and lessons will continue. Any unused tuition beyond that will be refunded.
If no notice is given, a 4-week tuition charge will still apply.
